Pyjama set with defined collar, piped seams, and straight trousers. Light yet structured. Today it is house wear that keeps dignity in warm climates. At Jaulhac, Eugène Le Moult’s château, colonel-style pyjamas suited afternoons of specimen work followed by salons in the evening.
Jaulhac combined practical tasks with cultural life. Visitors assisted in classification of butterflies by day, often wearing light garments. Evenings continued with discussion and soirées around the collection, sustaining activity outside occupied Paris.
