A light jacket with a straight cut and strong seams, made for practical work. Today it is used in workshops and gardens.
At Jaulhac, Eugène Le Moult’s country house, similar jackets were worn during the day for handling specimens and doing everyday tasks. During the war, the house functioned as a working base. In his late fifties, Eugène spent this period carefully cataloguing and maintaining his collection.
